Moat of Le Château Chillon
Moat, Le Château Chillon
Chillon is interesting in that it uses Lake Lèman (otherwise known as Lake
Geneva) as its moat. This insures that it can't be mined. (Imagine having
all of Lake Lèman pouring down on your head as you try to dig a tunnel
under the wall).
From here, you can walk along the front wall, or you
can go to the keep or to the
vaults.
