Andrew is trying to do an offical crawl, where his legs and arms are all moving. Up until recently, he has been doing an army crawl (just arms moving). The other day was pretty funny. He had his legs under him, in proper crawl position--then he hopped forward. Not quite what he was expecting. Andrew has managed an arm-and-leg crawl at least once or twice that I've seen.
Owen is getting into proper crawling position and is starting to rock back and forth. If Andrew is any guide, Owen may be crawling within a week. We think Owen might be crawling forward, but we haven't seen it yet. We have seen him go backwards, which seems to confuse him.
Nancy fixed the kids some rice cereal last night (Thursday), but she made it much thicker (more cereal, less formula). The kids loved it--they ate everything she made and she had to make some more.
It looks like my book may not make it to stores until November--that's the latest from my editor.
Jacki and Roger Smith took care of the boys for a couple of hours on Monday night so that Nancy and I could go to a movie. I think everyone had a great time.
