Book stores

There are lots of good book stores on the web. I like Powell's Bookstore (see below). However, there are also others.

• The Advanced Book Exchange -- this is a search engine for a large number of used book stores. You can also set up a want list which will email you when there is a hit on your search.
• Amazon Books -- they have a large number of new books. They also have some access to used books.
• The Book Finder -- this is a book search engine, which will check various book stores and sites such as Amazon, Powell's, and The Advanced Book Exchange
• Green Duck Designs -- they specialize in history books
• Lang Syne Books -- this is a local (Portland, Oregon) book store which has pretty good Celtic and history sections
• Thaddeus Books -- they specialize in rare and out-of-print books
